Course Overview

Agents are already in your IDE, terminal, and CI pipeline. This course teaches you to use them effectively, connect them to your tools via MCP, and build simple custom agents when you need them. No ML background required.

Prerequisites

• 1Completed Gen AI Fundamentals or equivalent AI familiarity
• 2Basic comfort with terminal and CLI tools
• 3Basic Python for the tool calling lab (most lessons are code-free)

Core Concepts

• 1The agent loop — how agents perceive, plan, act, and observe
• 2MCP (Model Context Protocol) — connecting agents to real tools
• 3Tool calling — giving AI the ability to take actions via the API
